Uvalde and Buffalo Shootings Lead to New Gun Legislation – Procedurally Passed by the Senate

“The law-enforcement response to the attack at Robb Elementary was an abject failure and antithetical to everything we’ve learned over the last two decades since the Columbine massacre,” Mr. McCraw said. “The only thing stopping a hallway of dedicated officers from entering Room 111 and 112 was an on-scene commander who decided to place the lives of officers above the lives of children,” Mr. McCraw said.

The horrific shootings that took place in Uvalde and Buffalo, New York have led the government to attempt to reform gun laws. The House of Representatives has passed sweeping new gun laws that will impact every American. The Bill will need to go through Congress before it can be passed.
