Six Police Officers Shot in Philly During Standoff, After Police Attempted to Serve Narcotics Warrant

On Wednesday, at approximately 1630 EST, Philadelphia Police Officers were attempting to serve a narcotics warrant. At which time they were met with a barrage of bullets that turned into a standoff which lasted nearly eight hours.

Throughout the situation, six officers were shot, and at one point, two police officers were trapped inside the building for several hours, later to be rescued by SWAT.
