On Wednesday evening, a powerful EF-3 tornado, as rated by the National Weather Service, caused significant damage to a Pfizer pharmaceutical plant in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The twister tore through Nash County, heavily damaging the large complex. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries, but the tornado scattered and damaged over 50,000 pallets of medicine and other debris within the facility. Pfizer, the owner of the plant, is assessing the extent of the damage and working towards recovery.
